Polished Gypsum
Traditional inexpensive British Gypsum plaster applied using similar techniques and application as Venetian plaster and then waxed and polished to create a beautiful and highly reflective surface. Colour can be added to create a diverse colour palatte of off-whites, pastels using traditional natural colour pigments. A selection of our plastering images using this technique can be seen below.

Highly reflective qualities.
Bounces light in a normally darkened stairway whilst also create by reflection the illusion of space
Carries light from the front windows in to the rear rooms where there is no windows and natural light
Adds depth to otherwise flat walls.
Instead of painting or wall papering walls and ceilings have the colour simply put into the plaster
When sealed with wax and polished grubby finger marks can easily be wiped clean
